The classroom set up begins

Here is what my classroom looks like today. The next couple of weeks will be spent getting things ready. I need to connect with my co-teacher before I can start getting furniture set up and put things on the wall.

Classroom DIY

I'm going to take pictures of my kids at school with these on and use them as their name tags for my guided reading groups!

It's really too bad that the animals here kept in cages. The metal bars got in the way of a lot of pictures!

Waiting no more.

My plan was to go back to school on Monday and start getting things ready, but I just couldn't hold in my excitement! I went back today just for a little bit and got a whole lot done in the reading recovery room!

Scenes of the country

I went for a short bike ride in the country. The sights are a little bit different than what you see in the city or town. Love it!

Northern Lights

This was the first time I`ve attempted to photograph the Northern Lights. I will for sure have to try again another night as I am not fully satisfied with the results.

All was going well until I put hot glue on the wrong thing... my finger!

Long awaited

So I've been thinking about this shot for quite some time and today I finally got it.

If you are wondering how I managed to get this shot... let's just say, I made sure no cars were coming!

Coming Home

When I got home after being at the lake for a week I found some very lovely flowers on my kitchen table. They are still going strong and look just as nice.

It looked like it might finally rain here, but no luck. I tried to capture the rainbow instead.
